My Old Kentucky Home

Tune:  My Old Kentucky Home as A(AB)4 (A=figures, B=chorus).


Formation: A set of 4 or 6, double sticks.  

Sequence: Once to Yourself, Up and out, Chorus, F-Gyp, Chorus, E-Gyp, Chorus, Pop-Tarts, Chorus.

Style detail: Start with sticks crossed in the air and clash yourself on the first clash.  Accent clashes are double clashes with partner if possible.  Otherwise clash yourself (midpoints of f-gyp and pop-tarts ).

Chorus: All sticking is tips.  left fore to partner's left while right back to diagonal right's right; right fore to partner's right; left fore to partner's left; double clash across twice; right fore to partner's right while left back to diagonal left's left; left fore to partner's left; right fore to partner's right; double clash across once.  All face clockwise around the circle, right arm extended into the center as a spoke, sticks verticle as a hub.  All dance 2 double steps around the circle. Turn over the right shoulder 180 degrees to pushback around the circle clockwise to home.

Ending: All face up with a clash to yourself on the last jump.
